The Fairwinds Community Association invites all neighbours to our Annual General Meeting onWednesday February 24, 7:30pm at the Stittsville Sobeys (Carp @ Hazeldean Road) upstairs in the community kitchen.
Meet your neighbours, learn about what we’ve been up to in the comunity this year, share your ideas and concerns. Includes a presentation from City Councillor Shad Qadri.
The Grounds Café will be providing coffee, finger foods and some desert items. They’re the new coffee shop opening soon next to the Food Basics. It should be a great preview of what’s in store for our community!
Everyone is welcome to attend. Annual memberships will be available for sale at $5 per person. Your contribution supports community events and activities and allows you to vote for the executive.
Interested in joining our board? We’re looking for up to five volunteers to fill open positions on our board of directors. We meet once a month to discuss community issues, organize events and activities, and work to make Fairwinds an even greater place to live. Time commitment is approx 2-3 hours per month over the year, and no previous experience is required.
