Minor injuries after vehicle hits cyclist on Iber

A cyclist was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, including road rash, after a collision on Iber Road during rush hour on Monday morning.

The collision happened close to the Iber Road fire station.¬†Ottawa Police say that witnesses reported that the cyclist turned in front of the vehicle. ¬†The vehicle’s driver was not charged.

Today is Bike to Work Day.

  1. The headline says the vehicle hit the cyclist but the article concludes that the cyclist hit the car. Cyclists need to be more responsible. The irony is that there is a bike trail right there. I have literally been hit in the side of my vehicle while stopped at a red light. I got a good laugh from this article
