The Minor Atom Stittsville Rams competitive hockey team competed in the Bell Capital Cup hockey tournament over the Christmas holidays between 29 and 31 December and found success.

The Nepean Wildcats Peewee AA Hockey team started the New Year off with a bang, winning a gold medal in their division at the Bell Capital Cup.
Jamie Aspropotamitis, Elle Spencer, Hillary Sterling and Cameron Thomas were four Stittsville-area girls that played on the winning team.
The girls faced tough competition over the three-day tourney with scores of 4-0, 0-0, 1-0, 2-1. This brought them to the tournament finals played at the Canadian Tire Centre, home of the Ottawa Senators. Continue reading
