Jabulani supports Richmond’s 200th anniversary

The Richmond 2018 Organizing Committee thanks Jabulani Winery for their generous support.

Tom and Janet Moul, proprietors of Jabulani Winery presented a cheque to the Richmond Village Association for $717.00 at their recent South African dinner event. They were thrilled to have sold all 717 bottles of the 1818 wine they produced in such a short time. In Janet’s words “they flew off the shelf” A generous donation was made to the 200th Anniversary of $1.00 from each bottle. Now that is community spirit! Continue reading

Food, beer, and wine is on the menu at Taste of Stittsville, September 4

Taste of Stittsville September 4

Covered Bridge Brewing will host “A Taste of Stittsville” on September 4 in the parking lot at 119 Iber Road, 11am-4pm.

A selection of local food and drink vendors will be on hand with samples of their products for sale, along with live music and a chance to meet with friends and neighbours from the community. The plan is to start small with the first edition this year, and then expand the event in future years.

Businesses confirmed so far include:

  • Covered Bridge Brewing
  • Little Red Shack BBQ
  • The Grounds Cafe
  • Bonita’s Cantina
  • Jubilani Vineyard & Winery
  • Smokie Ridge Vineyard
