On Saturday, a new bilingual “Welcome to Stittsville” sign and flagpole will be unveiled at the corner of Stittsville Main and Hazeldean Road.
The additions are part of a redevelopment of the park space around the sign, which will include an age-friendly park adjacent to the new Hazeldean Gardens retirement home that’s currently under construction. The park is being funded through the City of Ottawa’s cash in lieu of parkland (CIL) budget. Continue reading
