Everyone who participated in the 2020 Family Day activities in Stittsville were guaranteed to have a good time.
From the annual free pancake breakfast and skate time hosted by Carleton MP Pierre Poilievre at the Johnny Leuroux Arena, to Goulbourn Museum’s photobooth, a pick-up game of hockey and the free skate time hosted by Councillor Glen Gower at the CardelRec-Goulbourn Complex, the day was filled with something for everyone and judging from attendance, a huge success for all.
It should be mentioned that the volunteers who assisted in the background organizing and attending these events deserve a very big Thank You! To use Councillor Glen’s adage #GetInvolved — that is just what brought our community together on Family Day.
