A. Lorne Cassidy school collects for the Snowsuit Fund

(via A. Lorne Cassidy school)

The cold weather is upon us and soon we will all need to bundle up!

This weekend is the perfect time to dig out winter clothes. A. Lorne Cassidy school can help you de-clutter those winter bins and closets.

From November 2-13, the school will be collecting donations for the Snowsuit Fund of Ottawa.  Last year, the Snowsuit Fund distributed over 16,000 snowsuits to children and teens in our community.

As of October 23 of this year, they had already given out 6,000 snowsuits. They have currently run out of hats and mittens! We can help them by collecting new or gently used snowsuits, jackets, snow pants, hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves. They require sizes infant to adult.

Please send your donations to the school starting on Monday. There will be collection boxes in the rotunda.

Let’s help the Snowsuit Fund keep kids warm this winter! Thanks in advance for all your support!
