The February Luncheon was a great success. We had chicken-a-la-king with roast potatoes which was very good and salad, tea and coffee. The desert was one of Barb Forbes’ lemon creations and for which we received great reviews. Many thanks to the Royal Canadian Legion, Stittsville, Branch 618 and all the kitchen volunteers for hosting our luncheon and providing such great food.
The musical entertainment was provided by Charles and Heidi Gregoire who presented us with a great repertoire of easy listening songs and old favourites as well.
Our next Luncheon will be March 28, 12:00pm at the Stittsville Legion. The menu for the March 28 Luncheon Meeting will include Beef Stew, Salad, Desert, Tea and Coffee.
