ALE Restaurant in Amberwood, along with the golf course and pool, were evacuated today after construction crews working nearby hit a gas line. The restaurant remains closed.
UPDATE: The restaurant will re-open Thursday at 11am.
“At approximately 1:30 PM, a gas line was damaged in our parking lot. All customers and staff have been evacuated safely and in a calm manner. We would like to thank Ottawa Emergency Services for their swift response. At this time, ALE is closed until further notice. We will keep you all updated as we learn more information,” they posted to their Facebook page.
