  1. These athletes have worked so hard for many years & love the sport. We are so proud to have them represent us around the world in the sport of figure skating. Their achievements in the sport have earned them many awards & it would be a wonderful honour for them to have Rink A of the Goulbourn Recreation Complex named after them.

  2. Oh my gosh yes! I know Jack Fan from our Programs at Spectrum Insights, wonderful guy. it would mean so much for the special needs community to have the rink renamed to the “Katie Xu and Jack Fan Rink.” Why not shine a light into the lives of these two so it may spread to others w/ daily challenges, that they may be inspired by Jack and Katie!

  3. Absolutely……..I have seen both these individuals dance in the community. Both have stellar dancing moves and I am sure they both have individual challenges. It is so important to promote success such as this and give others hope to pursue their dreams. I support their dreams and encourage awareness and promoting dancing on ice. I am big advocate for all special needs individuals and I am confident that Katie and Jack will represent the community very well. Good luck to you both.

  4. Yes. I absolutely support naming the arena under their names. My son had his skating lessons with them during the Special Olympic Skating so I know how hard they worked for their medals. The arena naming under their names would bring so much inspirations to special needs kids, mine included.

  5. I hope the “Rink A” in the Goulbourn Recreation Complex will be renamed the “Katie Xu and Jack Fan Rink.” Well deserved.

  6. What an amazing idea!! This would be great inspiring story for all Canadians –

“Katie Xu and Jack Fan Rink” They represent the qualities we all cherish and admire in our champions on and off the ice.
