The City of Ottawa is changing the look of your water bill. In March, the bill will be redesigned to make it easier to read and understand. It will also be available in the language of your choice – English or French.
Along with the new look, every resident will also be provided with a new 15-digit account number. When making your payments, ensure that your new account number is included when paying by cheque, in person, electronically or by pre-authorized payment.
Your new bill will include information such as – current charges, rates and property information; your current balance and due date; along with graphs that show your current consumption and past usage history over 2 years. There will also be a section that will enable customer messages and special messages from Ottawa Water.
