Ottawa Fire Services received a 911 call around 11:00pm Saturday night reporting smoke visible in a home at 5891 Flewellyn Road near Shea. Residents reported it could be due to a dryer fire.
Upon arrival, crews reported a fire in behind the dryer and in the walls and declared a working fire. No injuries were reported. Crews were still on scene at midnight, working to bring the fire under control.
