The last few years have been challenging for many in our com munity\, and this year is no exception. With one in four households in Ott awa struggling to afford enough to eat\, your support is more important th an ever!\n\nThis Saturday’s food drive will be held from 10 am to 5 pm a t Brown's Your Independent Grocer and at Brandon and Megan's No Frills. Pl ease consider adding an item to your grocery cart that you can then donate to the Stittsville Food Bank who will volunteers at both sites. Non-peris hable food items can be placed in the Stittsville Food Bank cage bins loca ted at participating stores.\n\nYou can also make a monetary donation at t he cash register at participating stores. Your monetary donations will not only help provide non-perishables\, but also fresh and nutritious foods l ike fruit\, vegetables\, meat\, bread\, dairy and eggs to those who are ac cessing food banks in our city.
