SUMMARY:A Choired Afternoon - Supporting Multifaith Housing
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nA gathering of several different local and community
  choirs will present a Sunday afternoon concert full of beautiful music. A
 mong the choirs is the Goulbourn Male Chorus who will join with the other 
 choirs to take part in a massed choral presentation near the end of the co
 ncert.\n\nAlso featured will be a piano-organ duet and a solo by Sophia Pi
 erce who has performed at the Ottawa Senator’s hockey games.\n\nThis is 
 a benefit concert with a freewill offering and all proceeds will be going 
 to the Multifaith Housing Initiative. Multifaith is a registered charity w
 hich works with the City of Ottawa\, provincial and federal government par
 tners and private businesses to build and support affordable housing in th
 e City of Ottawa. An example of their work is a community called The Haven
  located in the Longfields neighbourhood of Barrhaven.\n\nThe concert is a
 n Outreach project of St. Thomas Anglican Church with the purpose of helpi
 ng to provide more affordable housing in our city\, including in Stittsvil
 le.
