DESCRIPTION:ALC Celebrating Summer and Community \nA. Lorne Cassidy Element
 ary School Council is inviting students\, families\, and the wider Stittsv
 ille community to a year-end bonanza June 27th.\nFeaturing food\, games\, 
 face painting\, nail art\, a braid bar\, henna\, sports\, balloon twisting
 \, a bouncy castle\, and even a Nerf Zone\, this carnival-style celebratio
 n is meant to gather the community\, toast the dwindling school year\, and
  create excitement for the upcoming summer break. Radio station Hot 89.9 w
 ill be keeping the excitement level high with on-site music and entertainm
 ent.\nOrganizers say the rain-or-shine event will kick off at 5 pm on the 
 ALC grounds (27 Hobin Street)\, just in time to enjoy dinner with family a
 nd friends. Several popular food trucks will be on hand\, including Big D
 ’s Dog House and Poutine Emporium\, Pizza All’Antica\, Stella Luna Gel
 ato\, and Caffeine Fix. Counsellor Shad Qadri and his team will be serving
  cotton candy and snow cones to anyone with a sweet tooth.\nUnder the tent
 s\, revellers will be able to visit HoneyDrop Body Art and Lee Ann Racine 
 for face painting\, Ms. Twisty for balloon twisting\, Henna Boutique for h
 enna designs\, or nail and hair artists from Stittsville’s Mahogany Salo
 n &amp\; Spa for added style.\nGuests are invited to bring along a dart-st
 yle shooter to play in the Nerf Zone. Targets\, team pinnies\, goggles\, a
 nd darts will be provided. For safety\, dart play will be restricted to a 
 designated area.\nA portion of proceeds from these activities and from foo
 d sales will be donated to school council for future events\, so please br
 ing some spending money!\nLocal ambulance\, fire\, and police services wil
 l be on hand for photos and safety tips at various points in the evening\,
  and kids can have their picture taken with Paw Patrol characters. Music a
 nd dancing\, soccer\, and basketball\, and Tysen’s Mission to a Million\
