Mr. Clifford served as MMLT’s second Pr esident from 2010 to 2019\, and since then\, as a member of the Emeritus C ouncil. He has had an impressive career in mental health and child care\, but his avocation has always been a love for the wilderness.\n\n \;\n\ nMMLT negotiated its first Conservation Easement Agreement with the Cliffo rd Family in February 2009 on an exceptional pristine wilderness property near Flower Station\, formerly known as the Alba Wilderness School\, and n ow referred to as Blueberry Mountain at cliffLAND. It is the second larges t legally protected area in Lanark County\, after Murphy’s Point Provinc ial Park\, and is also one of Seven Wonders of Lanark County. Blueberry Mo untain is climbed by over 2000 visitors each year! Mr. Clifford has lived here for the past 42 years.\n\n \;\n\nDuring his talk\, Mr. Clifford w ill reflect on how his life has been blessed and changed through experienc es at cliffLAND and his involvement with MMLT - the insights gained\, the convictions that became unshakable\, and the vision that continues to prov ide meaning and hope.\n\n \;\n\nMMLT’s AGM and Presentation will be held on the evening of March 23rd at the MMLT office - 10970 Hwy 7\, Carle ton Place\, ON.
