 e to celebrate the new segment of road with a special pre-opening communit
 y event!\nCouncillor Gower and his team are giving residents a “sneak pe
 ek” of Robert Grant Avenue (between Abbott East and Hazeldean Road) befo
 re the road opens to vehicles mid-October. On October 4\, we’re opening 
 up the road and inviting residents of all ages to test out the road by bik
 e (non-motorized)\, on foot\, on a skateboard\, on a scooter (non-motorize
 d)\, with a stroller\, or with any other mobility device (including wheelc
 hairs and walkers).\nThere will be very limited parking available on both 
 ends of Robert Grant Ave. You are strongly encouraged to find your way ove
