On July 1, Celebrate Canada Day with a free concert by the NAC Orchestra!
Hosted by slam poet and songwriter YAO, and conducted by Alexander Shelley, this free concert will also feature homegrown international violin sensation Kerson Leong, a Unisong choir with voices from every province and territory of Canada, and JUNO Award-winning vocalist Kellylee Evans.
The concert will feature works spanning over 100 years of Canadian musical creation by Keiko Devaux, François Dompierre, Jean Coulthard and more! As tradition dictates, our Canada Day concert will end with the unforgettable “Hymn to Freedom” by Oscar Peterson. Other masterpieces will be announced on stage the same day.
