DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nIn celebration of World Migratory Bird Day 2026 and
  the theme “Every Bird Counts – Your Observation Matters\,” the Frie
 nds of Stittsville Wetlands are hosting their 3rd Annual Interpretive Walk
  in an effort to learn more about the fragile and ecologically significant
  Goulbourn Wetland Complex.\n\nPlease arrive at the TransCanada Trail Head
  – intersection of Westridge Drive and Abbott Street West – no later t
 han 8:50 a.m.\n\nA special session before the walk will launch the FoSW iN
 aturalist Project. Make sure you download the app before your arrival.\n\n
 The walk guide is Rob Stavinga\, a retired Environmental Technologist\, wh
 o dedicated his career to conservation in Ontario. Join along as they expl
 ore the many birds and the habitats they depend on.\n\nFor further informa
 tion\, including how to register\, please visit Friends of Stittsville Wet
