GTHS Photo Exhibit called “Stittsville – Then and Now”. The exhibit consists of historical photos of Stittsville – both street scenes and individual buildings – paired with modern photos of the same scenes and buildings. A description of each scene or building is available on a laminated sheet accompanying the exhibit. The photo exhibit is supplemented by a set of special commemorative Stittsville china plates, and several mementos of Stittsville displayed in the glass case in the same area. This photo exhibit is part of the Goulbourn Township Historical Society’s celebration of Canadian Heritage which Ontario celebrates in the month of February.
Watch for a Historical Society Open House celebrating old time cooking later this month!
