DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nJoin members of the Goulbourn Township Historical So
 ciety as they take you on a tour of two historical cemeteries in Hazeldean
 .\n\nThe tour will be led by Roger Young\, a well-known local historian an
 d descendant of the original Talbot Settlers of Hazeldean as he shares the
  history of two local cemeteries.\n\nThe visit starts with the Old Union C
 emetery at 21 Young Road\, behind the Masonic Hall and across the Street f
 rom St. Paul’s Anglican Church. A short drive will take you to the secon
 d stop at Maple Grove Cemetery located at the Corner of McCurdy Drive and 
 Maple Grove Road.\n\nYou will learn about the beginnings of settlement in 
 Hazeldean and the lives of the early settlers who came from Ireland and no
 w rest in their new land. Roger will discuss particular individuals of int
 erest and their lives and times. The cemeteries will be examined from a hi
 storical standpoint.\n\nThe tour will start at 1.30 p.m. at the Old Union
