Colman Doming o and Paul Raci lead the cast of this feel-good movie that delivers promis e for redemption. Colman plays the role of Divine G Whitfield\, an inmate who started the rehabilitation program and was the author of many plays ab out the program. Also of note is Clarence “Divine Eye” Maclin\, playin g himself and working to make a difference in the prisoners’ lives. Clar ence is not without some flaws. He is a threatening presence in prison lif e – and he really needs the help offered by the Rehabilitation Program. 'Sing Sing' is a film that gives us some hope about the future of incarcer ated men and delivers some very fine performances from men who have no act ing backgrounds.
