SUMMARY:Into the Woods
DESCRIPTION:This modern classic Stephen Sondheim musical intertwines the ta
 les of several notable fairy tale characters including Little Red Riding H
 ood\, Jack and the Beanstalk\, Cinderella\, and Rapunzel.  These characte
 rs\, along with a baker and his wife who wish to start a family\, journey 
 deep into the mysterious woods\, each desperately in search of their very 
 own “happily ever after”.  Their journeys are soon complicated by an 
 evil witch\, a couple of selfish princes\, a female giant\, and a connivin
 g wolf.  Further twists to the original tales ensue and our traditional c
 haracters ultimately end up discovering something far more significant tha
 n anything normally found in a simple storybook ending.\n\nThe opening per
 formance will take place Thursday\, April 12th\, at 7:00 PM (doors open at
  6:30 PM) in the Earl of March Auditorium at 4 The Parkway\, Kanata. Shows
  continue on Friday and Saturday at 7:00 PM and Sunday at 2:00 PM. Tickets
  are $15 and can be purchased online at www.onstagedirect.com/EarlOfMarch
