DESCRIPTION:The next meeting of the Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Soc
 iety on Tuesday\, May 18th will take place on Zoom at 7:00 pm.\n\nThis mon
 th’s speaker is Arlene Rowe who will give a talk about compost\, which i
 s often referred to as “black gold.” Arlene has been composting for ov
 er thirty years and will share her vast knowledge in her presentation “B
 lack Gold—A Personal View.” She will provide practical techniques that
  any suburban gardener\, regardless of experience\, can use to maximize th
 e production of this precious commodity for their lawns and gardens.\n\nSo
 ciety members will be emailed the Zoom meeting invite. If you are not a me
 mber and would like to attend as a guest\, or if you would like to become
