DESCRIPTION:The next meeting of the Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Soc
 iety is on Tuesday\, March 21st. The meeting will be held in person at the
  Johnny Leroux Community Arena (second floor)\, 10 Warner-Colpitts Lane\, 
 Stittsville\, at 7:30 pm. If you prefer to attend the meeting on Zoom\, pl

  Zoom link will be sent to you. \nOur speaker tonight is Master Gardener M
 ary Ann Van Berlo\, who will present her talk\, “Water Features for Ever
 y Backyard.” A pond\, waterfall\, or fountain adds another dimension to 
 your garden. The sound of running water is relaxing and will draw more wil
 dlife to your garden. Mary Ann will give us an overview of the constructio
 n steps for installing a water feature\, cover maintenance\, as well as ho
 w to deal with potential problems that may arise. There are so many styles
  of water features. Perhaps one of the designs that Mary Ann shares will e
 ntice you to add a pond or fountain to your bit of paradise.\nMary Ann Van
  Berlo is an avid gardener who has a 2.4 acre garden on the St. Lawrence R
 iver\, which is part of the 1000 Islands and Rideau Canal Garden Trail. Si
 nce the Trail opened in June 2015\, Mary Ann has welcomed many visitors an
 d bus tours to her garden. In June 2017\, Mary Ann’s garden was featured
  in Ontario Gardener Magazine.\nWearing a mask is optional during the meet
 ing.\nIf you are not a member and would like to attend free as a one-time 
 guest\, or if you would like to become a member\, please send an email to
