DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nThe Stittsville District Lions Club is seeking Frenc
 h and English speaking students for their upcoming Youth Effective (Public
 ) Speaking Competition.\n\n\nRegister by February 28 or for more informati
 on\, contact Lion member Beth Lewis at 613-838-5007 or by email: bandblewi
 s@xplorent.com\n\nAge categories and speech length:\n\n\n\n\n- Junior spee
 ches (grades 4-6) are to be between 3-5 minutes long.\n\n\n- Intermediate 
 and Senior speeches (grades 7-12) are 5-7 minutes long.\n\n\n- Intermediat
 e and Senior also deliver an impromptu speech.\n\n\n\nCash prizes to be wo
 n and if you win your division you move on to the district competition!\n\
 n\n\n\n1st Competition\nPlease register by Feb 28th\,2025\n\n\nGrades 7 
 – 12 will also complete an impromptu speech\nWINNERS in each category wi
 ll receive $100.00 and runners up will receive $25.00\n\n\nWinners will ad
