DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\nAugust is Tree Check Month\, and the Canadian Food In
 spection Agency wants to teach residents how to keep their trees and green
 spaces healthy with a free public demonstration.\nUnder the Trolley Statio
 n at Britannia Park (next to the Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre)\, residents c
 an get hands-on tips for checking trees and learn how to spot early signs 
 of trouble from local experts.\nWith just a few minutes and a quick look 
 for signs like tiny holes in the bark\, sawdust at the base\, dead branche
 s\, or leaves falling too early\, residents can help protect the health of
  our urban forest. Trees give so much back — from cleaner air and cooler
  streets to wildlife habitat and beautiful\, vibrant spaces.\nSpot an inva
 sive species? Snap it\, catch it and report it! These small actions can ma
 ke a big difference for the trees in their yards\, neighbourhoods\, and lo
