DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT CHANGES:\n\nThe meeting of the Stittsville Goulbourn 
 Horticultural Society on Tuesday\, April 19th will take place on Zoom\, in
 stead of in person. The Zoom portal will open at 7:00 pm with the meeting 
 starting at 7:30pm.\nOur guest speaker this month\, Master Gardener Dale O
 dorizzi\, will give her presentation “Invasive Plants—The Beautiful Th
 ugs.” Native species are being overrun by exotic plants\, resulting in r
 educed native plant populations and a decline of native insects\, songbird
 s and even mammals. In this presentation\, Dale will discuss the invasive 
 plants that are causing problems in our Eastern Ontario area and what we c
 an do to help control the spread.\nDale Odorizzi is a Master Gardener with
  Lanark County Master Gardeners. She has been gardening all of her adult l
 ife and has had both a small city garden and a large country garden. She n
 ow maintains a communal condominium garden and also gardens on her own bal
 cony. Her gardens have all been designed to attract birds\, butterflies\, 
 bees\, turtles\, frogs and even toads.\nSociety members will be emailed th
 e Zoom meeting invite. If you are not a member and would like to attend fr
 ee as a one-time guest\, or if you would like to become a member\, please

 rship is $15 per person or $25 per family.\nPlease join us for what is sur
