Carol and Stéphane have entertained us previously on a couple of occasions, and it was always very enthusiastically received. On some numbers people even got up and started dancing! So we are delighted that they are coming in to perform again. They clearly enjoy playing and singing together and their choice of repertoire resonates very well with the audience, covering standards and familiar ballads from the mainstream of contemporary music. Stéphane’s jazz guitar blends well with Carol’s smooth vocals and they even elicit favourable comments from other musicians present in the room! (They are a cynical bunch those ‘other musicians’!)
So come along again and hear the magic of this ensemble, (perhaps augmented by some special guest performers as they were last time!) as you listen to and perhaps sing along with songs you probably know! Just the thing to help us slide towards summer – perhaps a pizza and a fruit smoothie to go with the music?
