Goulbourn Museum bringing virtual craft days to community

The Goulbourn Museum has been proactive in bringing their many programs and activities to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. This Sunday, April 25, the museum is bringing another activity to your virtual life as they hold their second virtual ‘Craft Day’.

This Family Craft Day: Show Me the Mushu takes its cue from the movie Mulan and three crafts are designed for you to make at home — a Dancing Dragon, Lucky Cricket and Indoor Fireworks!

This link is where you can find the complete supply list for all three crafts (including substitutes you can scrounge from around the house).

Videos with instructions for making all three crafts will be posted on Sunday, April 26 in the morning at their website:  https://goulbournmuseum.ca. Gather your supplies – Education Officer, Sarah Catterall, walks you through each craft and hopes to see you then!

The museum is hoping you have fun at their new ‘virtual’ craft days format and would like to hear your feedback. They also love seeing your photos as you make the crafts. Post your photos on your social media and tag the museum or email them to info@goulbournmuseum.ca and do let them know if they can share your photos on their social media sites.
