Members at Ottawa’s two Orangetheory Fitness studios raised nearly $7,000 for ALS Canada. One of the locations is right here in Stittsville at Huntmar & Hazeldean.
“To raise that money, we received incredible support though member donations, we held an Augiethon 90 minute workout on March 3 which was a 90 minute workout and glow party after,” says Karin Kincaid from Orangetheory.
“Members donated their Orange Splat points and also donated towards Coach Andrew who did a Row Marathon. For every $20 he rowed 1,000 metres, which ended in rowing 50 kilometres in our indoor WaterRower in 3 hours and 13 minutes! In total the money raised was amazing and we couldn’t be prouder of our Orange family and community.”
