Hydro Ottawa plans duct and manhole work in Amberwood/Wyldewood

Starting in the summer of 2017, Hydro Ottawa will be conducting a duct structure and manhole project in the Stittsville area.

Structures built around or over manholes could impede access for replacement/repairs, and may be required to be removed. Vegetation may also have to be removed.

This work is necessary to ensure reliability of electricity supply in the area.

Affected streets: Springbrook Drive (Cone Trail to Old Orchard), Trailway Circle (Moss Hill to Pine Cone Trail), Moss Hill Trail (Abbott Street to Trailway Circle), Granite Ridge Drive (Cinnabar Way to Fringewood Drive), Castlefield Avenue, Oakfern Crescent, Beechfern Drive, Hesse Crescent, Wintergreen Drive, Hampel Crescent, and Buttonwood Trail (Moss Hill Trail to Hedgerow Lane)

Project start date: Summer of 2017

Project completion date: Fall of 2017
