Jimmy is back! This guy came in last fall and proved himself to be an experienced and capable guitarist/singer who covers a broad range of familiar and some less familiar material that engages his audiences. In addition to a wide variety of popular cover tunes he has also penned many originals that he enjoys sharing.
His performances connect together with some lively and entertaining banter, and audiences enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of his music. He is frequently found hosting open mike nights at stages around Ottawa. His released CD: “Hey Lonesome” features eleven original tracks recorded at the Woodshed Studio in Toronto. He describes it as “a collection of hurtin’ country songs designed to make any dog howl”.
So come along and join us for what promises to be a lively and entertaining evening of music, jokes and stories. No entry charge for purchasing customers, but remember the best seats go first, and we put out a ‘donations’ jar so that appreciative customers can contribute to the well-being of the marvellous musicians who come to entertain us.
Jumpin’ Jimmy Leroux plays Gaia Java on Friday, April 10 at 7pm.
