(Press release from Odyssey Theatre)
This Sunday, Odyssey Theatre will be donating proceeds from its August 2nd matinee performance of The Things We Do For Love to benefit Tysen’s Mission to a Million in support of Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario.
Tysen Lefebvre is a very special wish child who lives in Stittsville. After his wish to meet longtime idol and celebrity Adam Sandler was granted in 2012, Tysen decided to raise $1 million dollars through his “Mission to a Million” in support of Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario to help other kids have the same magical wish experience. To date he has raised more than $275,000 in support of local wishes.
Specially priced tickets for the matinee performance of The Things We Do For Love on Sunday, August 2nd at Strathcona Park (in Sandy Hill downtown) will be sold for $30 for adults and $15 for children under the age of 12 years. The matinee performance will begin at 3:00 pm, and Tysen and his volunteers will be onsite to sell his Mission merchandise before the performance and during intermission. Tickets are now on sale.
