The old house at 5830 Hazeldean Road was demolished today. It was home for many years to Alfonsetti’s, a popular Italian restaurant.  In the early-1980s it was known as “The Cottage Restaurant”, owned by the Adams family.

More recently, Kanata Stoneworks was using the building and site to house equipment and construction materials.

No word yet on what’s planned for the land.
