Politics in the Pub comes to the Glen on April 21

(Press release from the Carleton Federal Liberal Association.)

An election is looming on the horizon and the buzz has started.

This year there will be a Federal election and new boundaries for this area have been established. The new riding of ‘Carleton’ is spread over a vast territory from Stittsville south to the Rideau River then swathing east taking in North Gower, Kars, Manotick, Vernon, Metcalfe, Findlay Creek and finally the community of Riverside South. It will be a challenge for candidates to visit every household therefore it is important that associations reach out to constituents and make their presence known.

Enjoy a brew or whatever your preference and participate in hearing about and talking about ‘hot topics’ affecting our economy, our country and our lives. Politics in the Pub is hosted by the Carleton Federal Liberal Association and the evening is open to anyone interested in joining in the conversation. What better way to meet and greet your neighbours than in a warm social atmosphere while sharing thoughts about what is happening in our constituency and our country. This is an opportunity to bring your ideas and share them with other and engage in a lively discussion. Your input is valuable and vital.

Politics in the Pub gathers on the second Thursday of the month at The Mill on Main St. in Manotick and circulates to other locations one other day a month. Mark Tuesday, April 21 on your calendar and meet us at The Glen, 1010 Main St., Stittsville at 7:00 pm.
