There’s a public meeting planned to discuss the 5-storey retirement home that’s proposed for the old flea market lands on Hazeldean Road at Stittsville Main.
The meeting is on Tuesday, February 9 starting at 6pm at the Stittsville Library Branch (1637 Stittsville Main Street).
In his weekly email to residents, Councillor Shad Qadri says that residents have raised transportation concerns with the development and that he is working to address these concerns with the community.
Tanya Hein from the Stittsville Village Association says the developers are also looking for increases to the maximum height allowed under the current zoning, and changes to the rear setback of the building.
