The fledgling Stittsville Business Association continues to expand its presence in the community, with a golf tournament on Sept. 21 that is planned to become an annual affair.
The event is meant as a way for local business owners to meet and make connections with each other. Registration begins at 11 a.m. the day of and tickets can be purchased online for $125.
The SBA launched in 2017 with the aim of promoting local businesses to residents and ensuring their continued success. It incorporated earlier this year, with a board of directors in place as of February. Membership for local businesses opened this summer.
