Giles, a 31-year old married man who works in IT, scratched his way to win while waiting in his car. “I picked up a scratch ticket to pass the time. When I finished, I called my wife and asked her if she was sitting down,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. “I was shocked.”

Giles, the youngest of nine siblings, has big plans for his win. He and his wife are expecting their first child later this year! “We are overjoyed with everything that’s going on,” he smiled.

Giles and his wife are looking forward to being debt free and are considering ways to give back to those less fortunate. “We are planning to make a donation to a day program for patients with dementia,” Giles smiled.

“This is so wonderful – we feel so blessed,” he concluded.
