Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society are Cleaning the Capital

The Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society is once again participating in the annual City of Ottawa Cleaning the Capital campaign. This year this community group will be cleaning the Trans Canada Trail from Shea Road to Westridge Drive. Volunteers are always welcome and appreciated to join the Society members in this endeavour.

Cleaning the Capital is also the perfect opportunity for high school students to earn their volunteer hours. If you are a student wanting to help out, please email the Society at the email address below to confirm your participation.

Participants are asked to meet at Village Square Park (Abbott Street West and Stittsville Main Street) on Saturday, June 19th at 10:00 am. The clean up will continue until 12:00 noon. Please bring your own gloves, a mask and water bottle. Bags will be provided.
