With events and meetings cancelled for the Stittsville-Goulbourn Horticultural Society in the foreseeable future, the Executive decided that it would be nice to have a social gathering for members.
On September 20, Society members, practicing social distancing and wearing masks, came together to enjoy an afternoon of refreshments and discovery in the garden of Stittsville’s Lee Boltwood. Lee is a Master Gardener and has a massive garden that contains many rare plantings she has nurtured over the years. An opportunity was also provided for those in attendance to pick-up some free gardening books.
Everyone who attended was delighted at the sight before them. The afternoon was captured by photos and here are a few for you to see for yourself the beauty of Lee’s garden.
