The 2017 Bytown Storm Stittsville Kids of Steel Race takes place on Sunday July 16th 2017 at 7:30am at the Goulbourn Recreation Centre on Shea Road. There will be some road closures in the area on Sunday morning.
SWIM – A pool swim in a six lane 25metre indoor pool, swimmers will swim laps until race distance is completed.
BIKE – Bike loops are out and back bike route on fully paved, well maintained, closed road.
RUN – The run is a one loop out and back run (separate turn around points for each race distance) on a well marked, flat course on grass, asphalt and gravel trails.
Kids of Steel (KOS) is the registered name for kids triathlon and duathlon events that are sanctioned by the provincial triathlon associations under the guidelines established by Triathlon Canada. Events sanctioned as a KOS event are intended to provide youth aged from U15 with the unique opportunity of experiencing the sport in a positive and safe yet fun environment.
Date : Sunday July 16th, 2017 race day meeting at 8:00am.
Entry Fees : $55.00 for Triathlon Ontario / Triathlon Quebec members; non Provincial Governing Bodies members pay 6$ race day insurance fee. Advance registration required.
