A preview of Stittsville’s Remembrance Day parade and ceremony

The Stittsville Legion’s annual Remembrance Day parade and ceremony happens on Sunday, November 11, 2018.

Everyone is welcome to join the parade.  Participants can line up at the Stittsville Legion Branch 618 (1481 Stittsville Main Street) starting at 1:30pm. It will leave the Legion at 1:45pm and head to the Stittsville Cenotaph in front of Johnny Leroux Arena on Warner Colpitts Lane.

The ceremony begins at 2:00pm at the cenotaph.

After the ceremony, everyone is welcome back at the Legion for live music, food and drinks.

Stittsville Main Street will be closed between the Legion and Warner-Colpitts Lane from approximately 1:45pm-2:45pm on Saturday.
