It is a PA Day for students and Goulbourn Museum is offering a craft afternoon. Come out and make some fluffy pom-poms starting at 1:00 pm. This event is offered for free, but a donation would be appreciated.

If you love Mexican food and the culture — come out to Taste of Mexico hosted by San Jose Mexican Foods. This event starts at 11:00 am and runs until 4:00 pm at the Stittsville United Church (Main Street at Fernbank Road). There will be free samples and hot chocolate – a preview of what is to come when San Jose open their food truck on Carp Road.
Brew Revolution (Jackson Trails Centre) is holding Round 2 of the Vinyl Exchange. They have crates upon crates of both classic and new records if you are looking for that special or obscure album. Grab a pint and start digging! Available for purchase or trade-in! It starts at 2:00 pm.
Another night at Brew Revolution brings you the Bustin’ Loose. The boys in the band are pretty excited to be rockin’ it up! If you like great beer, classic rock with a smattering of everything in between, you’re going to want to be there starting at 8:00 pm. Don’t forget your dancing shoes, you’re going to need em!

Boogity Dog Walking/Barkwood Forest are holding an Open House Tour to check out the fantastic dog walking trails on their property. The tour starts at 11:30 am. If you’re interested, here is the link to the Boogity website – boogity.ca. The will want to know your dog’s name, the breed and ensure that your dog is social. Boogity/Barkwood Forest is located on the south side of Fernbank Road at Jinkinson.
The West Ottawa Ladies Chorus is recruiting new singers. If you love to sing and have experience with harmony singing, come and give us a try. This week’s Open House is from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Bridlewood Trails, 480 Brigatta Street, Kanata. Openings in all four voice-parts – 1st and 2nd soprano, 1st and 2nd alto. Gentle audition takes place before joining. Come a bit early to be welcomed by a member of the Executive.
Bring your own instruments to George Turcotte’s Open Mic at Brew Revolution. From 2:00 – 5:00 pm enjoy the sounds of some talented musicians.
