The amazing and quietly efficient Sjef Frenken has been bringing a number of excellent musicians out to Gaia Java over the past year – we owe him a huge vote of thanks for the talent and variety he has attracted to our venue. This week we have another of Sjef’s finds; a duo that has evolved into a trio!
“T n R” consists of Terry Restoule (vocals and harmonica) and Richard Beres (guitar). They began playing together four years ago in a classic rock band where Richard played bass. In the fall of 2013, Terry and Richard formed “T n R” as an opportunity to expand their musical repertoire and embrace other musical styles.
Since that time, they have been developing a following south and west of Ottawa playing a variety of country, pop and classic rock cover songs at open mics, parties and charitable events. Along the way, they have been joined by accomplished bassist Chris Must.
The photograph shows (from left to right) Richard, Chris, and Terry. Not only are they excited to be playing at Gaia Java Coffee Company for the first time, we are excited to hear them.
