Both are known for going above and beyond expectations. A unique situation, the two spiritual care workers are an integral part of a student club that is not religiously based. They meet weekly with the club, giving students, staff and community members the chance to discuss and share opinions on topics such as: equality, LGBTQUI and its issues, and so much more.
Doug and Grant are always willing participants in the school’s activities as experienced from a school-wide perspective. Their fundraising activities have raised thousands of dollars for those in need.
The dedication of Doug and Grant to the students and staff at ‘Banting’ will be felt for years to come.
“They cared when people needed it and this is not something you easily forget” the staff affirmed.
