Ever want to see your name in lights or your face on the big screen? Here is your big chance while helping out a worthy cause.

On November 11, Stittsville teen Tysen Lefebvre held a “Jeans, Jerseys and Jewels” gala at Brookstreet Hotel for Make a Wish Eastern Ontario.

That night was extra special for Tysen because it was five years to the day that Tysen was sent to Los Angeles for his wish to meet Adam Sandler, who inspired his Mission to a Million. Tysen had such a great time with the actor/producer that he wanted other kids to feel the joy he did that day and to pay it forward. Tysen’s Mission to a Million was created with Tysen on his way to raising one million dollars and adopting 100 wishes.

The gala was a huge success with over $35,000 raised through ticket sales, auctions and corporate sponsors. Tysen got the surprise of the night with Adam Sandler himself sending a video to let Tysen know he heard about his mission and that he wanted to help him out. Sandler donated an amazing prize with the added incentive that it will hopefully raise a lot of money for Tysen’s Mission: The prize is a walk on role in the next Happy Madison production, hotel accommodations and transportation to and from the set to the hotel, flight for two and $750 in spending money!

For $20 you get 50 entries into the contest (it goes up to $500 for 3000 entries). Contest closes on December 20, 2017 and is open in Canada and the U.S. To purchase entries or for more information, visit  www.missiontoamillion.ca.
