U-Rock students keep crowd rocked at Arts in the Park

About 45 of U-Rock‘s most talented students rocked out at Stittsville’s Art in the Park on Sunday, the biggest public event they have ever had. U-Rock could not be prouder of ALL our stars this year. Keep an eye out on the local paper for pictures.

Mayor Jim Watson dropped by with Counsellor Glen Gower and enjoyed the performances as did thousands of visitors from Stittsville and area.

The annual craft fair featured more than 100 vendors, the largest number to date.

The show was the second last of the U-Rock 2018-2019 school year. Their final, end-of-session show will be on June 22 at the Brass Monkey.

U-Rock offers numerous performance opportunities to its students each year, so everyone gets a chance to shine.

Check out the photo slider below to see the students and you just might catch a glimpse of Councillor Gower when he was playing the ivories.

It was a great day for the kids and for their fans in the crowd.
