Weekly music series premieres Tuesday at NeXT

“The Sound of the Muse” is a new series of after-dinner theatrical concerts at NeXT, featuring live music, narrative stories written for the stage, multi media projection, and original songs performed by Ottawa-Toronto recording artists “The Life of Pearls” and “SleepWalk Plaza.”

The 5 shows in the series begin on Tuesday April 11-2017 –  and run weekly on Wednesdays (and one Tuesday each month) at  8:30 pm – 10:00 pm at a new and intimate concert venue at NeXT in Stittsville. Celebrity Chef and owner at NeXT, Michael Blackie, offers Ottawa one of the best dining experiences in the city. Admission is complimentary with your dinner reservation, or we welcome guests (for show only) $10 at the door.

Part live music concert, part narrative theatre, and part inspired TED Talk, “The Sound of the Muse” concert series is a unique and artistic music stage presentation which explores the search for inspiration and meaning in life. The show is written for the stage, composed and directed by composer, music producer and writer Timothy Trieste. The shows feature some of Ottawa’s most accomplished musicians, including vocalist Shann Bailey, Peter Brown, Jamie Holmes, Charles Richer, Nelson Martins and Alex Bilodeau who  perform with Trieste in the combined bands: The Life of Pearls and SleepWalk Plaza. Both bands appear on Sound of the Muse Records with debut records produced by Timothy Trieste and Bruce Valeriani.
