The June 25 fundraising event for Stittsville’s Yakabuski family raised over $150,000, organizer Jennifer McGahan announced this weekend.

Mark Yakabuski, 42, suffered a freak accident while golfing, resulting in a serious spinal injury. The father of three is an active member of the Stittsville community and for the past ten years has tirelessly offered his time and energy to the Stittsville Minor Hockey Association.
